Robin Williams' daughter Zelda thanks fans for support, shares new photo

After quitting social media in the days after her father's suicide, Zelda Williams made a return to Twitter this week to thank supporters for the words of comfort they've given her.

Robin Williams' only daughter said she was grateful to those who shared their own stories about losing loved ones.

Zelda Williams stepped away from Twitter and Instagram after she received abusive and hurtful messages in the wake of her father's death last month. She's since made a tentative return, sharing a Harvey Fierstein quote and now these new words of gratitude.

The 25-year-old also retweeted a photo shared with her by another Twitter user, showing her father singing joyfully alongside the Two-Headed Monster from "Sesame Street."

"Bearded sing-off," she wrote, adding a smiley face.
