Bruce Beresford-Redman, who was a successful reality TV
producer for the CBS program "Survivor" as well as other TV shows, is pictured in his cell inside the
Benito Juarez Prison in Cancun.
On March 12, 2015, he was convicted and sentenced to 12 years for the killing his wife, Monica, at
the Moon Palace Resort in 2010. He'd been on trial for nearly three years for a
crime he says he did not commit.
Monica Beresford-Redman went missing in April 2010, while vacationing with her
husband and two young children in Mexico. Just days later, on what would have
been her 42nd birthday, her body was found in a sewer pit at the
hotel where the family was staying.
Beresford-Redman told "48 Hours" he thinks about Monica all the time and
he misses her. He is often in touch with his children who live in California
with his parents, but hasn't seen them in a few years because he doesn't want
them to see him in prison.
