Extra: Eric Naposki's tells detectives he had no motive for murder
Soon after multimillionaire Bill McLaughlin's Dec. 1994 murder, Newport Beach, Calif., Det. Tom Voth and his partner questioned Eric Naposki. He eventually admits to dating Nanette Johnston and says he only learned she was engaged to McLaughlin after his murder. Naposki tells police he had no motive for killing McLaughlin.
